ApiWears (“we”, “us”) operates apiwears.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. It applies to every visit and order, in every country we ship to.
What we collect. To process an order we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number (for the carrier). To run the shop we collect your account details if you create one, your order history, and anonymised analytics (pages viewed, device type, referrer). Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
Why we collect it. To fulfil your order (contract), to keep records required by tax law (legal obligation), to improve the shop (legitimate interest), and to send you marketing email only if you explicitly opt in (consent).
Cookies. The shop sets a small set of functional cookies: your session, your basket, your region and currency choice. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner.
Sharing. We share your data only with parties needed to fulfil your order: the payment processor, the carrier that delivers your parcel, and our accounting service. We never sell or rent personal data.
Retention. Order records are kept for the period required by UK and EU tax law (currently six years after the tax year of the order). Account data is deleted within 30 days of you closing your account. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw them.
Your rights. Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email privacy@apiwears.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your national data protection authority.
