A round veil sits on a hat brim and hangs away from your face all the way round. Plenty of beekeepers prefer it to a fencing veil because you get more air and a wider view.

It needs securing at the chest so bees cannot get underneath.

Available in white or yellow, in polyester mesh or polycotton. Polycotton is heavier and lasts longer. Polyester is cooler and packs smaller. Neither is wrong, it depends whether the hat lives in your car or in your kit box.
