Ventilated mesh suits. Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, zips closed, velcro secured. No fabric softener - it clogs the mesh. Line dry away from direct sun; the foam in the layers breaks down in tumble dryers.
Cotton and polycotton suits. Wash at 30 - 40°C. Cotton shrinks a little on the first wash - that is accounted for in the cut. Do not bleach; it weakens the fibres without improving whiteness after propolis staining.
Veils. Hand wash only, cool water. Replace the veil when the mesh yellows or loses stiffness - it is the most replaced part, which is why every veil is sold separately. Never store a suit with the veil crushed flat.
Gloves. Wipe goatskin with a damp cloth, air dry away from heat. If the cuff elastic goes, the glove is done - a loose cuff is how stings reach the wrist.
